Guided House Tours
Enjoy a guided tour of the house with one of our seasoned Bonnet House docents. Limited to 12 visitors per tour. Parking is free. Enter through the Main Visitor Parking Lot on 9th Street off Birch Road / West Gate. Pre-registration is required. Reservations close 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Guided tours take place:
Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am
Tours are approximately 90 minutes
Adults: $30
Ages 8-16: $10
Not recommended for children 7 and younger.

Upstairs/Downstairs Tours
These tours are offered on Wednesdays at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm for $40 per person. Tours are approximately 90 minutes.
Visitors will participate in a VIP experience of the upstairs and downstairs of the main house and take a sneak peek inside normally closed areas of Evelyn and Frederic Bartlett’s private living quarters. Tours are led by our seasoned Bonnet House docents and will be offered for only $40 per person. Visitors will enjoy rooms not seen on our other tours.
The tour is offered in groups of 10 to allow for questions and discussion. Limited reservations are available, pre-registration is required. Please note, that the ability to climb 20 stairs is necessary to fully participate in this tour.

Guided Bonnet House Museum
& Gardens Group Tours
Tours of the Main House and specialized tours of the grounds are available to groups of 15 – 60. Your group is cordially invited to select a special tour of Bonnet House. These tour options are detailed below. Please note the minimum number of Guests for each tour.
Group Tour Hours

1. Main House & Self-Guided Grounds
Price – $20 per person / 15 minimum and 60 maximum guests / $50 deposit required
Description – Frederic Clay Bartlett designed and built Bonnet House as a winter retreat for his family. This historic house is one of but a few homes and studios of two American artists open to the public. A docent–guided tour will lead you through the rooms of the Main House where you will learn the history of the Birch/Bartlett family and discover the charm and whimsy of this beachfront estate.
Allow an extra 1/2 hour for a self-guided walking tour of the grounds.

2. Main House and Guided Nature Trail Tram Tour
Price – $25 per person / 15 minimum, 60 maximum guests / $50 deposit required
Description – Following a guided tour of the Main House, a docent will lead you on a tram tour of the Nature Trail describing the various species of native and landscaped plants. Docents will focus on the plantings done by Hugh Taylor Birch, and the landscaping created by his son-in-law Frederic Clay Bartlett. You will tour through palm-lined allees, past a stone fountain, a desert garden, and more.

NOTE: Group Tour Requirements – A minimun of 15 guests are required to receive a group rate. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required.
