‘Through a Flowering Place’ film series & Cultural Events commemorating journeys to freedom undertaken by six inspiring women who lived and traveled Florida’s Underground Railroad.
Grace Arts Florida, in collaboration with local artists and cultural contributors from several states and countries, is proud to present a free captivating film series titled “Through a Flowering Place: Women of the Saltwater Railroad.”
This series of short films and cultural events is part of a year-long ‘City of the Arts’ initiative of cultural events featuring multiple artistic disciplines – made possible through a grant from the Community Foundation of Broward.
Through the Flowering Place: Women of Florida’s Saltwater Railroad with Clare Vickery, Founder of Grace Arts Center, a Florida cultural non-profit organization in 2011.
Free for members / $5 non-members. Registration Required by 2:30pm Friday, March 8th.
This presentation will be offered in person and via Zoom. (All sales are final and tickets are non-refundable)
